Jeremy Poulin
Owner
Hi, I’m Jeremy Poulin, owner of Poulin Natural Maple Syrup. I grew up on a 10-acre maple farm in rural Ontario, where I spent my childhood building forts in the woods and enjoying every opportunity to be outside. Those early experiences shaped my appreciation for nature and the simple joys of being outdoors.
After six years helping build Red Mill Maple Syrup, starting Poulin Natural Maple Syrup felt like the right next step. Today, I love sharing that connection to the outdoors with elementary students through our hands-on maple syrup presentations and maple taffy experiences.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me travelling, exploring new places, and taking in beautiful scenery, especially mountains. I enjoy discovering how people do things in different parts of the world and bringing those ideas home with me. I’m also a big hockey fan, enjoy trying new restaurants, and never turn down a good steak.
Grace Kargus
Business Operations Manager
Hi, I’m Grace! I grew up just outside of Renfrew, Ontario, where I spent much of my childhood on my grandparents’ farm and many winter days snowmobiling through the fields. Those experiences gave me a deep love for the outdoors and a strong connection to family and the community I call home.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Trent University in Peterborough and have since returned to the area to complete my Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa, with the goal of becoming a teacher. I’ve always had a work-hard, play-hard mindset and love putting my energy into the things I care about while making the most of every opportunity along the way.
Outside of work and school, I love travelling, shopping, relaxing at the spa, and spending time outdoors through camping and hiking. I also have an adventurous side and enjoy anything that gets the adrenaline going, from bungee jumping to cheering on my favourite hockey teams. Most of all, I love spending time with my family and making the most of the time we have together.
