This includes up to five 45-minute presentations, with the schedule planned in advance to best suit your school. Led by one of our bilingual presenters, each presentation is interactive, age-appropriate, and designed to get students involved as they learn about maple syrup production and the traditions behind it. We provide all presentation materials and equipment, with plenty of opportunities for students to see maple production up close and take part in live demonstrations. Each presentation ends with a 5-10 minute Q&A with the sugarmaker, followed by a complimentary taste of fresh maple syrup.
How long will we be at your school?
When you book with us, we set aside the entire school day for your school. No matter what time your school day begins or ends, we’ll work around your schedule to make the most of our time together. Here’s a general breakdown of the time we’ll need:
○ 1 hour for setup: We’ll arrive one hour before your school day begins so everything is ready to go when students arrive.
○ Time for your chosen experience:
⇾ Presentation(s) Only: Up to five 45-minute presentations, with a 15-minute buffer between presentations.
⇾ Presentation(s) + Maple Taffy Experience: Up to two 45-minute presentations, with a 15-minute buffer between each. The remainder of the day is dedicated to scheduled class rotations and serving the maple taffy experience to your school community.
○ 1 hour for take-down: Once the day is complete and everyone has had a chance to enjoy the experience, we’ll take approximately one hour to pack everything up.

Very little! All we need from you is access to the space where the experience will take place, a schedule for the day, and access to electrical outlets.
