Maple Taffy Experience
This begins with up to two 45-minute morning presentations, led by one of our bilingual presenters and tailored to your students’ age.
The rest of the day is spent rotating individual classes through a more personal and engaging experience, where students can watch taffy being made on ice, interact with the sugarmaker, and ask questions in a smaller group setting.
We can accommodate up to 800 students throughout the day, with maple taffy provided for all participating students and school staff.
All materials and equipment are supplied, and the taffy is prepared and served indoors on a refrigerated table. The school provides the student count in advance, allowing us to finalize the schedule and pricing ahead of the day.
How long will we be at your school?
When you book with us, we set aside the entire school day for your school. No matter what time your school day begins or ends, we’ll work around your schedule to make the most of our time together. Here’s a general breakdown of the time we’ll need:
○ 1 hour for setup: We’ll arrive one hour before your school day begins so everything is ready to go when students arrive.
○ Time for your chosen experience:
⇾ Presentation(s) Only: Up to five 45-minute presentations, with a 15-minute buffer between presentations.
⇾ Presentation(s) + Maple Taffy Experience: Up to two 45-minute presentations, with a 15-minute buffer between each. The remainder of the day is dedicated to scheduled class rotations and serving the maple taffy experience to your school community.
○ 1 hour for take-down: Once the day is complete and everyone has had a chance to enjoy the experience, we’ll take approximately one hour to pack everything up.

Very little! All we need from you is access to the space where the experience will take place, a schedule for the day, and access to electrical outlets.
